The Truth of Madness

每一個時代，都有屬於那個時代的瘋狂。
Every era has its specific madness. 

漂泊在海上的這塊土地，不停的蕩漾著，從歷史的縱深，到當下的維度，極度複雜的空間與時間感，使得這座島上的人們，一直都處在動蕩的狀態裡。在如此情境的壓迫下，錯亂的我們不停的抽搐著，著了魔似的瘋狂著。但是我們都表現的很鎮定，表現的好像還有理智一般。
The island keeps drifting on the sea. Its historical depth and present dimensions foster extremely complex senses of space and time, trapping the people on this island in a state of constant turmoil. In such a predicament, the mentally deranged people keep twitching and crazing as if they are possessed. However, they all behave calmly as if they remain sane. 
瘋狂是時代的情境與當下的社會集體狀態所產生的極端反應，如此的反應並非是失去理智的。相反的，瘋狂與理智應是同時存在，並相互需要。瘋狂的狀態存在社會之中，它未必被彰顯，它隱藏在每一個面孔之後。我們並不拒絕瘋狂的行徑，因為這種狀態發生在每一個人的身上，瘋狂像是一種流行/疾病互相傳染，那是屬於這個大時代的錯亂，而這個錯誤/瘋狂卻深刻描述著社會的現實，透過瘋狂，鏡射出當下岌岌可危的真相，
Madness is the extreme reaction provoked by the context of times and the collective state of contemporary society. This reaction does not necessarily imply insanity. Rather, madness and reason co-exist in an interdependent manner. Madness exists in the society. It conceals behind every face and may not necessarily be highlighted. We do not defy madness because no one can free him/herself from it. Madness resembles a popular fashion or a mutually infectious disease. It is the derangement of this great era. The derangement profoundly reflects social realities, namely the truth in jeopardy.
